FLOATING VOICES

Eco Educational Barge Project

WELCOME TO FLOATING VOICES

Floating Voices is an eco-educational barge programme where artists and scientists work with local communities to work together to tackle climate issues. Local communities lead this programme by choosing the environmental issue they wish to explore and then scientists work with these local groups to find solutions to these issues and then artists work with the local community to interpret and express these ideas into a piece of art which can be visual, music, theatre, digital , spoken word and so on. Floating Voices is community led action to finding Climate Action solutions. Contact edel@streetartink.ie to find out more about Floating Voices and how you can get involved.

Our Vision & our goals

Welcome to our Eco Barge initiative, dedicated to connecting communities with their local waterways through workshops, talks, installations, and residencies. Our eco barge serves as a floating hub for education and engagement, highlighting the importance of healthy waterways and fostering a collective sense of stewardship. Passionate about sustainability and environmental responsibility, we aim to reimagine our interactions with these vital resources. By raising awareness of environmental challenges and empowering individuals to act, we strive to create positive change. Join us on this journey to explore, understand, and protect our precious water resources, making a lasting impact together.
